Fumed silica is also known as fumed silica. White amorphous highly dispersed microfine powder. Highly dispersible. Soluble in caustic potash (sodium) and hydrofluoric acid. Insoluble in water and other acids. Absorbs moisture in the air to form aggregated fine particles. Stable to chemicals. High temperature resistant. Non-combustible. Highly electrically insulating.
