Description

Describe:
PA 320 is a high-efficiency light stabilizer widely used in unsaturated polyester, PVC, and PVC paste resins, as well as various other plastics and organic materials. It offers exceptional light stability, especially for hard PVC and polyester.

Characteristic:
Solubility (20°C): % w/w
Water: negligible
Acetone: 3%
Benzene: 21%
Chloroform: 24%
Cyclohexane: 10%
Ethyl acetate: 7%
Hexane: 5%
Methanol: 0.3%
Methylene chloride: 26%
Thermal Analysis (pure substance, TGA, heating rate in air: 20°C/min):
Weight Loss (%): Temperature (°C)
1.0%: 178°C
2.0%: 185°C
5.0%: 203°C
Absorption Spectrum:
AVANT 320 has strong absorption in the UV range of 300-400 nm and very little absorption in the visible range above 400 nm. The maximum absorption peaks in chloroform solution are at 304 nm and 346 nm (ε = 14520 l/mol·cm).

Package:
Packaging Specification: 25 kg/bag.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, to maintain product quality.
Features:Significant light stability, particularly effective for hard PVC and polyesters.
Excellent UV absorption with high compatibility with various base materials.
Provides protection for polyester and organic pigments from UV radiation, maintaining the appearance and physical properties of injection-molded products, plastic films, and sheets.
Lower volatility compared to traditional benzotriazole UV absorbers, with a slight discoloration drawback.

Application:
Polycarbonate
Polyurethane
Polyamide
Synthetic fibers
Varnishes, especially those based on polyester, alkyd resin, epoxy resin, or isocyanate
